Terms and conditions

Version of 12 June 2026. This is a convenience translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.

§ 1. General provisions

These terms of service (the “Terms”) set out the rules for using the website available at algoomni.com (the “Website”) and for the provision of electronic services within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means. Starting to use the Website constitutes acceptance of the Terms in their current wording.

§ 2. Service provider and publisher

The service provider and publisher of the Website is ALGOOMNI P.S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Hoża 86/410, 00-682 Warsaw, Poland, KRS 0001187628, NIP 7011272266, REGON 542417810; e-mail: biuro@algoomni.com, phone +48 515 269 955 (the “Provider” or the “Publisher”).

The Publisher publishes the registered press titles: Gazeta ALGOOMNI (register of dailies and periodicals, entry RPR 21687) and Gazeta Logomarka (entry RPR 21744). Editor-in-Chief: Mieczysław Dzikowski. Editorial materials published on the Website are subject to the Polish Press Law of 26 January 1984, and editorial responsibility for their content rests with the Publisher.

§ 3. Types and scope of electronic services

The Provider provides the following services free of charge:

  • access to the Website’s content - browsing the published informational and editorial materials;
  • waiting list (newsletter) - periodic information about the development of the ALGOOMNI project sent to the provided e-mail address;
  • contact form - the ability to send a message to the Provider;
  • citizen submissions form - the ability to submit proposals for the New Civic Constitution or the programme of the New ALGOOMNI Party;
  • team application form - the ability to express interest in cooperating on the project;
  • user account - where registration is made available, the ability to create and maintain an individual account.

§ 4. Technical requirements

Using the Website requires: a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser supporting JavaScript and cookies, and - for services involving forms - an active e-mail address. The Provider applies technical measures preventing unauthorised persons from obtaining or modifying data transmitted on the Website (TLS encryption).

§ 5. Waiting list

The contract for the waiting-list service is concluded upon confirmation of sign-up by clicking the activation link sent to the provided e-mail address (double opt-in). The user may terminate the contract at any time - without giving reasons and free of charge - by clicking the unsubscribe link contained in every message or by sending a request to biuro@algoomni.com. Termination takes effect immediately.

§ 6. Submission forms

Sending a form requires providing the data marked as mandatory and giving the required consents. Citizen submissions may be catalogued and editorially processed and - only upon separate consent - published in anonymised form. A team application does not constitute a job offer or its acceptance; at the current stage of the project, cooperation is pro bono, which is clearly indicated on the Website.

§ 7. User account

Where registration is made available, the account contract is concluded upon confirmation of the e-mail address. The user must keep their login credentials confidential. The user may request deletion of the account at any time, which is equivalent to terminating the contract for its maintenance.

§ 8. Prohibition of unlawful content

Users are prohibited from supplying unlawful content, in particular content infringing personal rights, intellectual property rights or provisions of law, and from interfering with the operation of the Website (including sending spam or attempting automated use of the forms). The Provider applies anti-spam mechanisms and may refuse to process submissions that breach the Terms.

§ 9. Intellectual property

All content of the Website - including texts, graphics, logos, layout and software - is protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights and belongs to the Publisher or to entities with which the Publisher has concluded relevant agreements. Use of the Website’s content beyond permitted use (including reprinting press materials) requires the Publisher’s consent, with due regard to the Press Law provisions on reprints and quotation.

§ 10. Liability

The Website is informational and journalistic in nature; editorial content expresses the editorial team’s position and does not constitute legal, financial or investment advice. The Provider exercises due care to keep the Website operating without interruption but reserves the possibility of temporary technical breaks necessary for maintenance or updates. The Provider is not liable for interruptions resulting from force majeure or acts of third parties, for the content of external websites to which links lead, or for the consequences of a user providing untrue data. Nothing in the Terms excludes or limits any liability of the Provider that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of law, in particular towards consumers.

§ 11. Complaints

Complaints regarding the operation of the Website and the services may be submitted to biuro@algoomni.com or in writing to the registered office address. A complaint should include a description of the problem and contact details. The Provider examines complaints within 14 days of receipt and replies to the address indicated by the complainant.

§ 12. Out-of-court dispute resolution

A user who is a consumer may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including the assistance of municipal (district) consumer ombudsmen, consumer organisations and the permanent amicable consumer courts attached to the Trade Inspection. Detailed information is available on the website of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl).

§ 13. Personal data

The rules for the processing of personal data and the use of cookies are set out in separate documents: the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy, available on the Website.

§ 14. Amendments to the Terms

The Provider may amend the Terms for important reasons, in particular in the event of changes to the law or to the scope of services. Users of continuous services (waiting list, account) are notified of material changes by e-mail at least 14 days in advance; refusal to accept the changes entitles the user to terminate the contract with immediate effect. Amendments do not affect users’ acquired rights.

§ 15. Final provisions

The governing law is Polish law, provided that this choice does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded to them by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country of their habitual residence. Matters not regulated herein are governed by the Polish Civil Code, the Act on the provision of services by electronic means, the Consumer Rights Act, the GDPR and the Press Law. The Terms apply from 12 June 2026.
