Cookie policy
Version of 12 June 2026. This is a convenience translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
§ 1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved on the user’s end device while using the website algoomni.com (the “Website”). The entity placing cookies and accessing them is ALGOOMNI P.S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (ul. Hoża 86/410, 00-682 Warsaw, Poland, KRS 0001187628).
§ 2. Legal basis
Cookies are used in accordance with the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 and the GDPR. Cookies other than those necessary to provide the service are installed only after voluntary consent is given in the privacy settings banner; consent may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
§ 3. Types of cookies used
- Necessary (always active): enable the Website’s basic functions - maintaining a logged-in user’s session, protecting forms against abuse, and remembering the choice made in the privacy banner (the “algoomni_consent” cookie, stored for up to 12 months). Their use does not require consent, as they are necessary to provide the service requested by the user.
- Analytics (optional, off by default): used for anonymous visit statistics and activated only upon consent. As at the date of this policy, the Website does not use external analytics tools; if they are introduced, this policy will be updated and the tools will remain gated behind consent.
- Marketing (optional, off by default): may be used to display content matched to interests and are activated only upon consent. As at the date of this policy, the Website does not use marketing cookies.
§ 4. Managing consent and settings
Cookie consent can be managed at any time: by reopening the privacy settings on the Website (banner/footer link) or by changing browser settings - every popular browser allows cookies to be blocked or deleted (usually under “Settings” → “Privacy and security”). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
§ 5. Effects of disabling cookies
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the use of some Website functions (e.g. maintaining an account session or remembering privacy preferences). Disabling optional cookies does not restrict access to the Website’s content.
§ 6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated in the event of changes to the technologies used or to the law. The current version, with its date, is always available on the Website. The rules for the processing of personal data are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.
